Armada Sets Sail in Utah

by Brandon Jodon | May 28, 2018

When I moved to Salt Lake City in September of 2017, I had no idea what to expect from the esports scene. I never would have thought moving here would impact Armada in such a positive way.

During the last 9 months, I've watched former Armada stream team member "Tife" get drafted into the NBA 2k League by Jazz Gaming, the rise of Spacestation Gaming as a top North American Organization, and the University of Utah's continued success with it's esports program. After attending local events like Twitch SLC meetups and the Utah Esports Council meeting, it's evident the people of Salt Lake City are passionate about gaming and esports.

With that being said, I am excited to announce that the official home of Armada Esports will be Salt Lake City, Utah. We look forward to getting more involved in the gaming community and working with our newest partner Mainframe on some awesome projects. Stay tuned for some big announcements and new content in the upcoming months as we officially begin our journey in this great city!
